assignment # 26
Miss Pollock gave us an assignment earlier, so here it is.
The ideal home life for my fictional country would be more country side leaving rather then city life, only because I don't want there to be as much pollution and traffic etc. in my country. Everyone will have modern pay so we see everyone as equals not richer or poor just normal. In my fictional country we will grow vegetables such as carrots, tomatoes and garlic. We will grow grains and Fruits like Grapes for wine, apples and other popular fruits in Italy. Since the country is near the beautiful country of Italy we will have many wine factories. We will have a normal food consumptions, so the same as Italy, around 214,36 Euros or $260.11. national foods would be pasta, tortellini, fish and bread.
the other part of our assignment is to think of the children in our fictional Country and think of the regular lifestyle.
Tedesca (actual Italian name), age 6 enjoys playing soccer, dance and being with her family. She has pictures of her family in her room. She has just started her 2 year of school. She lives with her 2 parents and a dog. She wants to be an author when she grows up.

Assignment #25: Tara's Childhood Top Ten
Hello fellow bloggers, today our teacher Miss Pollock asked us to reflect back to our childhood memories. This helps us with our writers workshop and also just to remember our childhood. So we have to show our top ten childhood items so here they are.
1.Candyland board game
My favorite board game was Candyland. I used to always play it all the time when I was younger. I remember I always lost when I would be playing against my sister and I was always so determined to win but the outcome was always me losing.
2. Barbie
I was obsessed with barbies when I was younger. I remember how all the barbies had the same look like, blond hair, skinny, and just the right makeup. But now they have ones like Hannah Montana, High School Musical, Twilight. I think the originals are that much better. They used to be so important to me because Because my it was the only time my sister and I wouldn't really fight.
3. Capture the Flag (in the dark)
When I was younger I used to play capture the flag at my cottage and cousin's cottage. When I first started to play capture the flag we had to play during the day but once I got older we started to play in the dark with flash lights. It was really fun... up until my friend ran into a bench and split his knee open all the way to the bone. I remember I was crying but the next morning he had 12 stitches and he was fine. I don't really play it anymore not since then.
4. Dr. Seuse: The lorax
This was my all time favorite children's book, when I was younger I was in the enviorment club in Bayview. We would learn how to help the planet and how to inform others how they can help the planet. since the book is about polluting I just thought it was the best book ever.
5. Dr. Seuse: The Cat In The Hat
Oh my word, I remember when I first read this book. I thought it was so strange but once the movie came out I was super excited. Its funny cause I don't really like cats but I liked reading this one book about the cat in the hat. I also find it strange how kids are more excited to see a movie based on a book but once you get older people tend to read the book to see which one would be better.
6. Hercules the movie
I think this was my favorite Disney movie of all time. I loved the romance in it, the fights, and the jokes made by the fat guy I can't remember his name though he had the horns on his head. I also always found this movie really just entertaining. I definitely will be keeping this movie for my kids.
7. Just Go To Bed by Mercer Mayer
I read this book because I think it really represented me as a kid. I was stubborn and would never want to go to bed. I would always fight with my mom to make sure I could stay up a liitttttlleee longer. I guess somethings never change.
9. Going to Mooney's Bay with school (Bayview)
My gosh. I loved Bayview Public School! Having the school near Mooney's Bay made it that much better because we were able to go to Mooney's Bay near the end of the year. It was hard to see Bayview be crushed.
10. Graduating from Bayview!
Oh another Bayview memory, graduating from bayview was alot of fun and now i get to graduate from fielding!! one of the best things about graduating from bayview was seeing the video of the graduates... I had alot of embarrassing photos in that video.
